Disclaimer, terms & privacy

Please read this page before using Kirdomicism.com, the KirV pilot, the Ask page, or any of our forms. By using them you accept these terms. This page includes our privacy notice under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").

Version 1.1 · Effective from 20 October 2026

1 · Who we are

Kirdomicism.com is run personally by Dr. Yanyong Thammatucharee (ยรรยง ธรรมธัชอารี), Chiang Mai, Thailand ("we", "us"). For the PDPA, he is the data controller of personal data collected through this website.

Contact for all legal and privacy matters: info@kirdomicism.com.

2 · Disclaimer

Education and reflection only. Kirdomicism is a personal philosophy. Everything on this website — articles, books, cards, videos, events, the Ask page and the KirV app — expresses the author's views for education and self-reflection. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, financial, tax, investment, employment or other professional advice, and it does not create any professional relationship with you.

Your health comes first. Practices such as self-force are not a treatment for any condition. If you have a physical or mental-health concern, consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, contact emergency services (1669 in Thailand) or the Department of Mental Health hotline (1323 in Thailand), or your local emergency number.

Avalrem is not money. Avalrem is a way of reflecting on the value of actions. It is not money, a currency, a token, a security, an investment, a reward scheme or a financial product. It has no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged. An Avalrem score judges an action, never a person, and must not be used to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing or eligibility for anything.

No guarantee. The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We try to be accurate but make no promise that content is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted or free of viruses. Results described are not promised to you.

Your choices. You alone are responsible for the actions you take. To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this website, its content, the Ask page, the KirV app or any event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Other websites. Links to other sites (such as LinkedIn, YouTube, booking or payment pages) are for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

4 · Terms of use

Fair use of the site. Do not use the site unlawfully; try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it; copy it with automated tools; send spam, abuse, threats or unlawful content through its forms or the Ask page; or pretend to be someone else.

What you send us. When you send a message, question, comment, translation or other material, you confirm you have the right to send it, and you allow us, free of charge and without time limit, to use it to answer you and to run and improve Kirdomicism. Translations or other work volunteers contribute for publication may be published with credit. We will not publish your name or personal details without your agreement.

Responsibility. If you break these terms and that causes a claim against us, you agree to be responsible for the resulting loss, to the extent the law allows.

Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.

Languages. This page may be offered in several languages. If versions differ, the English version prevails, except where Thai law requires otherwise.

5 · AI answers & translations

Answers on the Ask page are generated by an artificial-intelligence system that draws on the author's published writings. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, they are not the author's own words, and they are not advice. Always check the sources shown. Do not type personal, health or other sensitive information into the Ask page. Questions are sent to an AI service provider to produce the answer (see section 8).

Pages in Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish may be translated with the help of AI and volunteers and may contain errors. If a translation differs from the English original, the English version prevails.

6 · KirV pilot

Test software. KirV is in a pilot stage. It may contain errors, change without notice, or stop. Do not rely on it for any important decision.

The website edition keeps your data on your device. What you enter in KirV at kirdomicism.com/kirv is stored only in your own browser on your own device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see, recover or delete it for you. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing or changing device can erase it. Use "Export my data" to keep your own copy. Anyone with access to your device may be able to see it.

The trusted-tester edition runs on Anthropic's Claude platform and needs a Claude account. If you join it, your entries are stored on that platform and are also subject to Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy. We will tell testers in writing what we can see before they join.

7 · Events & volunteers

Events. Dates, venues, prices and speakers may change, or an event may be cancelled; registered participants will be told by email. Payment and refund terms are shown on each event's registration page. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, belongings and travel. Events may be photographed or recorded for Kirdomicism's channels; we will announce this at the event, and you can ask not to be shown.

Volunteers. Volunteering is unpaid and voluntary, and does not create employment, partnership or agency. Volunteers do not speak or sign on behalf of Kirdomicism unless agreed in writing, and must respect the copyright rules above. Either side may end volunteering at any time.

8 · Privacy notice (PDPA)

8.1 What we collect. Only what you choose to send: name and email (contact, newsletter, event and volunteer forms); country or city, languages, availability and your message (volunteer form); event registration details; questions typed into the Ask page. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site secure. We do not collect payment card details; paid events use a separate payment provider.

8.2 Sensitive data. We do not ask for sensitive data. But because Kirdomicism is a philosophy, what you write may reveal your religious or philosophical beliefs or your health — which the PDPA treats as sensitive. We process such information only with your explicit consent, which the forms ask for, and only to deal with your message. Please share only what is needed.

8.3 Why, and on what legal basis. Replying to your messages (your request and our legitimate interest); sending newsletters and event announcements (your consent); registering you for and running events (contract); coordinating volunteers (your consent); answering Ask questions (your consent, given by submitting a question); keeping the site secure and counting visits from the server logs (legitimate interest); meeting legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation). We never use your data for advertising, never sell or rent it, and make no automated decisions about you.

8.4 If you don't provide it. Giving us data is voluntary. Without an email address we cannot reply to you, send you newsletters, or register you for events.

8.5 Who receives it. Only service providers that help run the site, and only as needed: our web hosting and email provider (GoDaddy); the AI service provider that answers Ask questions; our newsletter or event-registration provider, if used [NAME]; YouTube (Google), only when you play an embedded video. We may disclose data if required by law or a lawful order.

8.6 Transfers outside Thailand. Some providers store or process data outside Thailand, including in the United States. We transfer data only as the PDPA allows — for example where the provider has appropriate safeguards, or where needed to provide what you asked for, or with your consent.

8.7 How long we keep it. Messages and enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Volunteer records: while you volunteer and 1 year after. Event and payment records: as long as Thai accounting and tax law requires (generally 5 years), other event details 2 years. Ask questions: not kept by us after the answer is produced, beyond any period the AI provider states. Server logs: as kept by the hosting provider for security. Then we delete or anonymise the data.

8.8 Security. The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to the site administrator, protected by strong passwords and two-step sign-in. We collect as little as possible. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and notify you without delay if the risk is high.

8.9 Children. This site is meant for adults. If you are under 20, please use our forms only with your parent's or guardian's consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 10; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

9 · Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to: withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what was done before); access and get a copy of your data; receive it in a common electronic format or have it sent to another controller; object to its use; ask us to delete, destroy or anonymise it; restrict its use; and ask us to correct it.

To use any of these rights, email info@kirdomicism.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. We may refuse only where the law allows, and will tell you why. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand.

10 · Cookies & device storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may remember your language choice in your browser. The KirV pilot stores your entries in your browser's own storage (see section 6). Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set cookies until you play a video. We count visits with summary statistics made from our hosting provider's server logs — for example, the number of visits, country, pages viewed and the site that linked to us. This uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and we do not use it to identify you.

11 · Changes & contact

We may update this page. The version and date at the top show the latest version; important changes will also be announced on the News page. Questions, permission requests and privacy requests: info@kirdomicism.com, or the form on the About page.
